Faithfamily Praiseband (FFP) is the leading faith-based outreach music ministry catalysing spiritual transformation and community renewal across Lagos and Nigeria.
The Faithfamily Praiseband, the foremost champion of worship-driven community outreach in Nigeria, is empowering a new generation of worship leaders and community servants, driving hope restoration, catalysing community renewal across 28 communities and ensuring inclusive spiritual empowerment. The ministry's mission is rooted in the belief that music transcends barriers — positioning every believer, regardless of background, as an instrument of divine transformation.
Through our outreaches, FFP has impacted over 12,000 individuals with access to free worship experience and discipleship training. Our volunteers have raised over ₦5,000,000 in resources to support more than 320 dedicated community servants. Our outreaches have generated over 54 transformative events and created more than 15 testimonials and collected gifts.
Through our work, we support community independence across all 28 communities, which accounts for 60% of individuals who may be dependent on external support due to poverty, broken homes, and lack of spiritual direction. Our outreaches directly positively impact more than a million people annually, with 100% of impacted communities being African communities.
FFP's ability to lead, train, develop, and network young faith entrepreneurs across the continent is creating a single platform for growing faith in the African community. Our portfolio of outreaches provides partnership opportunities with top community organisations, including the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), local church bodies, and government-sponsored community renewal initiatives. Our partners include youth associations, NGOs, media organisations, and faith networks actively working to catalyse transformation and growth in communities across Nigeria.

Faithfamily Praiseband was officially launched by Pastor David Okafor in Lagos, Nigeria. Starting with a core team of 12 volunteers and a single keyboard, the ministry held its first open-air outreach at Agege Pen Cinema — drawing over 300 community members and leading 47 to faith.
The ministry also hosted its inaugural TEFConnect-style networking event, linking praise bands from three Lagos local governments for a collaborative evening of worship and fellowship.
